In July 2013, Finnegan Shanahan wrote an original score for "Rocket Men," an upcoming short film by Sam Cutler-Kreutz. His subsequent collaboration with Jake Chapman on its production led to a new project; Chapman pieced together the short instrumental vignettes with added transitional material to form one continuous piece of music.
